How long will it take to complete the repairs?

We try to complete most repairs the same day. If this is not possible, we will let you know what time frame we expect.

How much will it cost?

We will perform a diagnostic on your vehicle and give you an estimate on repairs 

My car is running rough. Do I need a tune-up?

It is possible but it could be a number of issues. We will perform a diagnostic on your vehicle and let you know what needs to be repaired.

Is there a charge to check out my car?

Our diagnostic fee is wrapped into our repair costs if you choose to have us do the repairs.  The diagnostic charge can vary depending on the problem with your vehicle.

Do I need an appointment for a repair?

Not all the time, it is suggested though.  We sometimes can perform same day service but it just depends on how busy the day is and the scope of the repairs.  Call us at 208-345-0011.

What credit cards do you take?

We take all major credit cards.

Why does my car need maintenance if it's running fine?
Regular maintenance of your vehicle protects your investment, helps to prevent breakdowns, and will save you on the cost of repairs in the future.
What will happen if I don't have the repairs done right now?

It depends on what needs service.  One of our trained technicians can give you this information once they diagnose your vehicle.

What Should I Do When My Check Engine Lights Come On?

You can bring it to us and we can scan your vehicle but you can also bring it to any auto parts store and they will scan you car for free.  Once they give you the problem codes you can let us know what they are when you drop the car off.

How Often Should I Have My Brakes Checked?

Brakes are pretty important, you should have the checked once every 6 months.

What Type of Oil Filter Do I Need?

If you’re on an extended oil change interval or use synthetic oil, then a reputable premium filter is probably a good idea.

If your car engine uses conventional oil and you stick to a regular filter and oil change schedule, the best filters aren’t necessary.

Do I Really Need Winter Tires?

Here in the Treasure Valley, over the past few years you can use all weather tires and make it through the entire winter with no issues.

There are also dedicated snow tires such as Bridgestone Blizzak that aren't studded like typical snow tires.  They do cost more but they are more effective than standard studded tires.  You are only allowed to use studded tires after October 1st.
